Conwy Castle Town Walls
The town walls are a popular attraction to visit when in Conwy. The walls circuit the town for three quarters of a mile in length with 21 towers in routine intervals. Starting from the castle all the way to the quayside, the walls in Conwy are one of the best preserved in Europe and judged the finest in Britain.
You can walk along a great part of the walls although some parts are closed to the public due to safety reasons. The climb to the highest point of the walls is a little steep but the views are brilliant and you can view the whole town. The last section of the walls is towards the quayside and on the way down you can glimpse over to Deganwy and Llandudno.
The walls are open everyday and it's free to walk around too!
