Living History Weekend
The living history weekend is a great event in Conwy. Members of the Historia Normannis group re-enact life during the Norman conquest. There is a camp set up on the Quay where inhabitants of the camp will sleep in medieval style tents and cook on open fires using utensils from the period. Warriors will settle their arguments with swords and shields and the women will carry out day to day life as it would of been. There is plenty of entertainment to see too. There is medieval style music and fun activities for everyone to join in. They also hold a archery/longbow competition and the winner gets a specially commissioned solid silver arrow.
The event starts on 19 June 2014 until 20 June 2014
