Conwy Water Gardens
Conwy Water Gardens is located just outside of Conwy in Rowen. If you just want to go and feed the ducks or do a spot of fishing for the afternoon, the water gardens is a great place to visit. The gardens has a small Dutch Pancake house where you can have a choice of 65 types of savoury and sweet pancakes. For those who like to keep it simple, they do have special boards with different meals.
The gardens have a lovely nature trail where you can go and wander through the calm surroundings. Roaming through the trail you will come across the wildlife from otters, Capybaras and Pheasants. Harry, Will and Kate (the otters) get fed between 11:00-11:30 and 15:00-15:30 daily.
Within the gardens they have three course fishing lakes to choose from and are well stocked with carp, bream, tench and orfe. There is a tackle shop to purchase the essentials inside the aquatic centre.
The Water Gardens has an aquatic centre which stocks a range of outdoor pond fish, pond plants, filters and pond accessories. Inside the aquatic centre is a purpose made fish house which stocks thousands of types of tropical and cold water fish, tropical plants and reef friendly livestock coral. There is also a reptile house that supplies various types of frogs, snakes, chameleons, tortoises and more. They sell the items that are required to look after your reptiles such as starter kits, live food and specialist products.
